+7 to +8

im playing on euko right now (not sure if the upgrade rates would be any different from usko)
but i was just wondering about how many +7's would you get to successfully make one +8
just want to know cause im debating whether its a better route to buy multiple +7's and just upgrade them to 8 or just buy it straight up +8. just trying to see which way would be cheaper/safer to do!
i'd like your opinion on which one you prefer doing and why.
your input would be appreciated!

Just get an amount that youll still have a nice profit if you succeed, and yet that you wont spend to much if you fail.

Well I don't know what the probability of upgrading to +8 is, but the decision mostly depends on your preference. The average cost of both ways (either upgrading yourself or buying straight away) should be very similar in the end. But do you prefer to know that you need X gbs for this item and Y more for that, or do you prefer to leave it to chance and hope all the gbs you farmed/bought don't burn? I think that's the most important factor when deciding which route to take. Some people enjoy the thrill and gamble of doing it themselves. I myself got depressed when one weeks grind went down the pooper and usually didn't farm again for quite some while... Though I never did succeeded with anvil.

From my experience and from what i hear succes rate its 5% to make 7-8

If it's 5% with BUS and 25% with trina then I'd have to say that you should never try upgrade it yourself, since the +7s are never that cheap compared to the +8.

My advice is buy a +8...

You have around 20% chance with a Trina

just calculate
lets say you want to buy a +8 item thats worth 500,000,000
+7's cost lets say 70,000,000 , trina eh 30m? , u can buy 5.
IF you are lucky ( which i doubt ) , u get 1 +8 of them , and if ur more lucky it will be at nr 2/3/4 , so u can sell the other one + trina .
BUT this is for really lucky people.
my advice? IF you have the money to buy a +8 , buy it always invest in your gear. thats rule nr 1

I prefer buying it too, sometime you burn so much to make +7, and not +8!! I burned 10 items +6 to +7 once, upgrade is pure gamble =)
