question about rebirthable items

howcome some chitin armors with weapon defenses can not be rebirthed at +7 and some can and whats the difference?

At first, you could rebirth them, then K2 did something and then you couldn't rebirth them anymore. The rebirthed weapon defenses however are still in the game.

+ you can keep upgrading those rebirthed chitins via rebirth scrolls if you get them
