Which one is better??

I was wondering if any of you know what is better:
Chitin boots +8/17 spear def (DEF: 72) OR
Chitin boots +5/20 spear def (DEF 60) (rare item)???

Anyone ever tried which one decreases received damage from "spears" more?

in old servers there are g1 (paper) - g4 (fp) rare defs afaik... and some implemented shells +9/10 :P

on older servers there are rare chitins weapon defense armors, i regularly see them on merchants (+4 only, like 15 axe defense and like that)

on beramus there is even 1 rare rogue chitin helmet +6 with 25 dd

hmmm 3 wep def or 12 ac i really dont know xD do you have both? maybe you should test.. id imagine wouldnt be a huge diff id just get cheapest

well on ares i got warrior chitin pads with 20club def(rare) i think its just hard to catch someone selling them

The +8 chitin by far... that additional ac is way better than 3 spear defense will ever be
