Imir rings drop more now?

I'm seeing alot of Imir rings on merchants, like 7 people selling multiple of them. Typically I'd see only 1 or two people sell them.
So do these drop more now or is there some kind of quests that drop them?
Or did everyone decide to sell them at the same time ?

there is a quest at level 72 that gives you two of them now. for mages only.

and i have seen the same thing but theres like 2-3 ppl that been merchantin imirs for awhile. my guess is sometime they merchant it but overprice.
