is compounding old acc. bugged?

I go with all the correct items and it says "wrong material" I have checked and re checked and I am using the right shiat.

A day or two ago I made a Belt of Life from 3 Old Light's Belt-s.
Worked then.
Do you have the Soft Stone, I sometimes forget about that one.

Yea I had 3 old flame rings (never used so seal not broken)
50 steel scraps
5 nest things
1 soft stone

I take all that to the same person who sold me the soft stone put them all up in the box and hit compound, and all comes back to my inventory, and the message is wrong materials.

from what i know compound old acc's works only on non sealed items like old pe,old dr ect
