well im a mage... and im kinda thinking of getting some... but i wanna know if it increases mages damage or their melee dmg >.> lol
has anyone tested?

im not 100% sure about this but i think it only does melee damage

im archer and pretty sure attack gloves work... idk though, if ur mage i would ge defense gloves against rouge

i think since it increase ur ap then it might only work on ur staff damage...
i really have no idea... but if they workk BAM buy some attack for warriors and priestt

they increase your ap - that makes you attack higher with any skill
+ they gives you +3% dmg against chosen class

they increase your AP AND increase dmg with 3% to a certain class. def gloves increase AC with 10 AND decreases dmg by 3% by certain classes. they got 2 bonusses.

thats doesnt make sense....
let me go put on some str accesories so i can "increase" my power with skills.

str WILL NOt help ur dmage watsoever only in staff attack thats it...
its like saying mp on ur armor and uniques helps ur damage...

some ppl believes that mp from uniques works as well :P
your ap is going up and your dmg is calculated on your total ap, not your staff's ap ... it's just not worth going for it ...

then it would make sense to GO str with mage >.>
so my novas are calculated on my total ap.... alright
hellbllood alone vs elemental staff + str items
ill have the same ap as with hell blood but i can guarantee u that u will not hit the same..

str on mage doesn't give you the same ap as for warrior...
I've had attack gloves on a mage and I dealt more damage to warriors/priests/mages even tho they both were rogue gloves...
well, not that much 'more dmg' but more 'balanced' dmg... (no idea how to call it in english xD)
let's see... with attack gloves I did the same 'the highest' dmg but a little more 'the lowest' dmg than with def gloves... it's like comparing HB vs II - elemental of HB is making a loss for AP and your hits are, let's say always close to 800-900. While with II your hits are scattered from 700-1000... It's similar, but the difference is not that noticeable...
