    Because there was a old unique dupe.

    because they are easy to get and there are a crap ton of them on the market

    yes old = +0 non old.
    But old you cant upgrade. And some (now maybe all idk per 100%) are sealed after your using, so you cant sell it.

    yeh all you juse are beeing sealed to you and cant be sold later on

    There was a dupe and the market was flooded with them. Also, monster stones can be farmed by those hard-core mages who aoe uruks for exp or simply for the MS. They just hop in and grab the old unique, and farm the uruks etc. again.
