[Mage] post - Candy staff debacle .... now what?

with the recent (unfair! ) neuter of mages' highly OP'ed candy staffs, what options have most mages moved on to? is flame atk mage still a relevant/useful class build?

do we got any new staffs from the under the castle thing? or is that still usko only? I am hoping I dont need to resort to any of the cursed staff weps (they got massive def loss, like -70 iirc). :S

i moved to aztec gold fulitol 8 and im sure that most of Europe orc side priest would be glad if i still had candy.

I don´t think it´s such a disaster to not have candy in game anymore.. mage is strong enough even though.. But there are some things I don´t agree with.. as mentioned, the def lose at cursed weps.. thats not well considered..

indeed, even with maxed out items, -75 def for mage (lowest def class there is, maybe next to rogue) is HUGE.

also I am thinking that pure MP build is useless now at highlest lvl of mage, since candy's elemental made that worthwhile. now, losing out on hundreds of HP just for maybe 100-200 dmg more does not look like viable trade off.

damn I need to wait until sms verify is back to even buy/sell lol -_-
