Question about chitin Shields.

Why did k2 make it so they don't drop anymore, was there abuse going on? And is it really that good of a shield because the thing sells for 500$+ i was looking at the stats and im guessing its just an in-game status symbol

They still drop, just not very often

It's a really good shield. Especially for mages and rogues, only 51 str.
But you had the status symbol right though haha.

they are the best "tanking" shield in this game... that requires low stats to use, weapon defense> hp/ac,

also it offers 50 defense against any warrior/bp. (thats 50% of the classes so 2 say out of the 4 classes there is 2 choose from.).

(also +3 or higher cs offer resist/ hp/ higher ac whiich is GG for priest/ mages that stat into it to ware it ^^).

yes it doesn't have any dd, arrow, on it, but those stats can be compensated elseware for minimal stats trade off (dd helmet, neckalce/belt).

and lastly its just so damn sexy , i <3 mine glad i have it, great 2 use in rlb as a lvl 59 priest ^^

if im right they only drops at abbys from isilion, im not sure if lesath (bowl) bosses drop it anymore.

problem is abbys rules k0spers = no chance for drop. if not k0spers biggest clans owns that place and other clans are not allowed to enter :s

Totally wrong, cs drops from monsters summoned from chaos stone.
Doesnt have to be Lesath necessarily to get a cs, they drop uniques randomly.

Last week some ppl got cs from barrkira, like 1,5 years ago 3 ardreams got one from lobo so...

summoned bosses also can drop it - its same drops like at cz

i was sure it was only from chaos stone monsters..u sure normal bosses drop it?

yea status too low on cs and it's pretty nc

reason it cost so much is cause its rare and yes only drops in cz chaos stone so dont past that stone without taking it never know maybe youll get a CS

it drops in dcz chaos stone too. there was a screenie of it not too long ago.. im gussing it drops in rlb also

ye chitin shield is realllyyyyy rare they drop from CS and from isi and felly i think

u can still get them from bosses.. and the bosses at chaosstone drop it aswell
