Upgrading with Elemental question

does putting the extra element on an item make chances of upgrading it less? Like if i had a krowaz+6 and put str or w/e on it and wanted to make it +7, would it have a less chance of going if it was clean?

Afaik, upgrading with or without elemental makes no difference to upgrade %chance.

Is it harder to put elemental on at a higher +?

actually i would say having a bonus on it takes the chances down (no real reason why programmers would o it that way), in my experience from upgrading a lot of paper stuff.

when i upgrade them to +6 and put dex on them and then upgrade to +7 (cus at +6 its still low class so dex scrolls is cheaper), i can even burn 12 of them and none will go +7.

when I just go +7 normally i usually get like 1/4 of them.

that is just my experience with a lot of upgrades on paper armor.

I made some str gear +7 and the few times I forgot to put str on them at +6, they burnt to +7 and the ones which I did put str on went up more.

But, I'm still not sure. Anvil sucks, end of.
