Does fresh mind do anything?

I'm just wondering if fresh mind does anything in pop. Do these resistances do anything? I once heard that curse resistance stopped your character from being stunned or slowed but wouldn't that pertain to lightning and ice resistance?

it gives poison resist too, a lot of ppl using raptor shard etc with poison dmg but idk if this shit working or not
