difference between Ring of the felankor and felankor

Hi i just returned to game after leaving beramus back in 2008.

I want to buy rings of the felankor but I have noticed sometimes it says "Ring of the felankor" or sometimes just "felankor". They appear to be the same item so whats with the difference in name?

edit: this is assuming you're looking at them in buying merchant. are there two actual different items in-game?

and yes I have confirmed there is no difference. the ring says Ring of felankor at +0 but if you get 3 of them and make them +1, the +1 just says Felankor.

I tested it personally.
