Listening to it atm, reminds me of Fade to Black kinda, lyrics wise. At first it seems like something that I really wouldn't expect from them, but then at like 4 minutes, it truly shows their metal roots, like how they have a 2-3 minute jam session of awesomeness :lol: All in all, I thought it was pretty good. This along with Cyanide weren't as heavy as I'd hoped, but it's still pretty fucking good. 8/10 for new Metallica
Great intro and this slower riff rest is "just" good
im probably gonna pick up the single, it sounds ok, but hetfield still kinda sounds like a country singer :/

It was the 4th track = the ballad of the album or w/e you wanna call it, so the lyrics are gonna be softer, and cyanide was pretty damn good imo, so I expect big things from the other tracks.
ya, maybe if cyanide wasnt shitty quality, guitar would sound correctly and such
and for you poeple who say hetfield cant sing the old stuff, well i saw em recently and yes he can still sing master oof puppets nothing else matters battery fade to black ect... as best as he ever had
