Light trance is great, the is a small genre called chill out as far as i know, my local radio station plays em most weekends and its great.

If you're looking for more recent jazz, christian scott is a newer artist that's doing some cool shit. some of his stuff isn't too conventional and has some other genres kinda thrown in, but it's nice to listen to. check out some of the shit he did with thomas pridgen. If you want more traditional stuff, you can't go wrong with some of miles davis' early work (you NEED to listen to Kind of Blue... hands down one of the best records ever... you can just listen to it to relax, and it's a great soundtrack while you're high), and if you wanna get kinda trippy check out his later shit when he gets into fusion. there are really tons of artists to choose from.
