<div align="center">Alright, so the most anticipated rap album of the year has almost hit the stores
Lil Wayne - Tha Carter III, out in stores June 10. Make sure ya'll buy it, I will for sure! :P
Soooo, I got the album yesterday and here is MY opinion and MY thoughts on, if ya don't like it.. don't post.
Production: 9/10
Kanye West, Cool & Dre and David Banner did a great job.
But can't have a 10/10 without Dre or Timbaland. ;P
Guest Appearances: 7/10
Can't believe he didn't have any southern rappers on the whole album. -.-
And what happened to the "Eat You Alive" track with Ludacris? :\
---
01 - 3 Peat
Produced by Cool & Dre
Love the beat. Cool & Dre FTMFW!
Not much to say about this one, really. Wayne's lyrics were decent on this one, this track definitely won't get boring anytime soon.
02 - Mr. Carter (Ft. Jay-Z)
Produced by Just Blaze
"Hey Mr. Carter, tell me where have you been?" xD
Love this song. Kinda reminds me of Akons Lonely.. I didn't like that song though. ;p
Weezy's lyrics are sick on this one for most of the time, flier than beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beetlejuice! >_<
Jay-Z's verse was great too. To be honest, I think he actually out-shined Weezy on this one.
03 - A Milli
Produced by Bangladesh
Pretty sure ya'll know this one already.
Its fuckin' dope. Nuff said.
04 - Got Money (Ft. T-Pain)
Produced by Play-n-Skillz
Gotta be my favorite track on the album, although I don't really like T-Pain I think he was pretty good on this one. <3 the chorus, its kinda catchy too, and I love catchy songs. xD
Wayne did his thing, like always, although I didn't really like the "umbrella" part. <_<
I can see this being Weezy's next #1 track.
05 - Comfortable (Ft. Babyface)
Produced by Kanye West
This one leaked awhile ago so I think most of you guys have heard it already.
Pretty good track if you ask me. Chrous was alright. Wayne's lyrics were kinda weak on this one but still kinda good at the same time, if you know what I mean.. o_O
06 - Dr. Carter
Produced by Swizz Beats
"Your first patient is suffering from a lack of concepts, originality, his flow is weak and has no style."
LOL, when I heard that I was like "Wtf, Nas?" (shout out to my homie noobybooby! <3)
Good thing the patient died later on in the song. <.<
Anyways, this song is very unique. I don't really know how to explain it, but its really good so I think you should definitely give it a shot.
07 - Phone Home
Produced by David Banner
Greetings from planet Weezy. h34r: haha :P
Kinda.. weird track and I don't really like it. But the beats are sick, David Banner fuckin' owns.
08 - Tie My Hands (Ft. Robin Thicke)
Produced by Kanye West
I don't like Robin Thicke at all to be honest, so this song wasn't that good in my opinion. Weezy was pretty good on this one, his lyrics were dope but the chorus wasn't really good.. If someone else was singing the chorus I think this song would've been 100x times better. But hey, thats just me...
09 - Mrs. Officer (Ft. Bobby Valentino)
Produced by Wyclef Jean
I like this song. Wyclef Jean seems to be a great producer. Wayne was blazin on this one. The chorus sounds good too.
10 - Let The Beat Build
Produced by Kanye West & Deezle
Shit. I love this song, now THATS how you let the beat build! I always knew Kanye was a good producer but this was completely off the hook! Love it. Wayne did a good job too.
11 - Shoot Me Down (Ft. D. Smith)
Produced by Kanye West
Love the beat on this one. Chorus sounds good, the whole song is pretty good actually.
12 - Lollipop (Ft. Static Major)
Produced by Jim Jonsin & Deezle
Lollipop... yay, lol :P
I'm sure ya'll already know this one so eh... Well, I like it (no homo).. its VERY catchy! But it gets boring pretty fast if you listen to it too much ._.
13 - La La (Ft. Brisco & Busta Rhymes)
Produced by David Banner
Lol, this song is kinda.. funny :P but I like it.
David Banner is one of my favorite producers, this song is also very... umm.. unique :P
Wayne was decent on this one, Brisco was alright too, but shit! Busta out-shined both of em. Hands down.
14 - Playing With Fire (Ft. Betty Wright)
Produced by Streetrunner
This track is straight FIRE! Ain't got nothin' more to say bout it.
15 - Nothin' On Me (Ft. Fabolous & Juelz Santana)
Produced by Alchemist
A bit old but still a great track in my opinion. Fabolous & Santana did good on this one. Weezy's lyrics were a bit weird but he was still good nonetheless.
16 - Misunderstood
Produced by ???
Is it just me or is this track almost 10 minutes long? I don't like the chorus at all on this one (...), and Weezy stops rappin after like 3 minutes and starts talking random crap for the rest of the song... This is the worst track on the album IMO.
Overall: I think the album is pretty damn good.
I would've never thought that it would actually live up to its expectations but it did! ;o
Feel free to post your opinion about it too, but try not to flame.</div>
