ok, only reason im defending green day is telling people they are not in the emo catagory. i dont care you like them or hate them, they are not in that catagory not even close. And i know lyrics of rhcp is differ from GD, in your otehr reply, you explain how emo green day is just because of what they wear...The lyric content of RHCP is totally different to the GD.

Lol, you just said Steve Vai sucks. Wow, I'm not even gonna further this discussion, because Steve Vai is > Billy Joe is every aspect of guitar playing. All Billy Joe can do is play power chords. It's all he's been doing since the beginning of his career.
Tbh, I'm better than Billy Joe at guitar and I've only been playing for a few years. I would gladly make a video of me playing his music, but I dont have a video camera, or the time to learn all their music.

greenday is aquired taste like someone said before, was ok for a small time and now sucks again IMO. they still sell out cause of the mainstream sort of people who are addicted to MTV songs and DL all those TRL video songs immediately of them appearing on the show lol...
anyways, my opinion on worst bands:
none--every band has some good aspect and SOMEONE likes them, so no matter what, this is more of a "what bands don't you like" than "what bands generally suck". anyways, i think no bands are terrible, unless they actually cant play music in any arranged way and just sound retarded, but then again someone still might like them T___T
