    Personally I'd say Vader's cover of Raining blood is among the more awsome songs I've heard.

    Nightwish cover of 'Over the hills and far away' is also darn nice.

    Does any one know of a good cover of Metallica's "One" ??? I've never found a good cover of it :unsure:

    Sepultura's version of Orgasmatron, originally by Motorhead.
    In Flame's version of Eye of the Beholder, originally by Metallica.
    Iron Maiden's version of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, originally by Black Sabbath.

    Most covers on Kerrang! Maiden Heaven! Were pretty gay imo, only like 3 or 4 were worth listening, the others were abominations.

    couldn't agree more :P, the version of run to the hills was pure sacrilege,

    i thought black tides cover was worth mentioning, like my favorite byfar is still the Johnny B. Goode cover

    Iced Earth has a lot of good covers, got a whole album of them lawl.

    About that piano version of One, freaking insane, I thought Apocalyptica was a great cover, this is way over the top.

    Marilyn Manson had a damn good cover of Sweet Dreams, originally by Eurythmic.
    Foo Fighters version of Baker Street, originally by Gerry Rafferty. (awesome song btw ^_^)
    Joe Satriani's version of Purple Haze, originally by Jimi Hendrix.
    Metallica's version of Sabbra Cadabra, originally by Black Sabbath.

    Well there're a lot of covers that I like ,too many to name but there's something thats perfect example how you can destroy a great song when ur retarded so called artist

    Jonathan Davis didn't do too bad at the Metallica Tribute a few years back, but nothing will beat the original..

    My favorite covers are
    Disturbed's- Shout, Land of Confusion, Midlife Crisis and Fade to Black{even tho they didn't do that last verse}..
    I also liked Korn's version of One, wasn't too bad..
    Rheotaxis's cover of Serenity
    Twiztid's version of People are Strange
