It is a pokemon mmo of the third generation game fire red and leaf green.

It is in alpha stage, however, there are no expected wipes when the game goes beta/live. In other words you can start playing right now and get a head start. The game is in alpha stage so not everything is implemented (ex. elite four and sevii islands). Long term vision include adding ruby/sapphire and even later generation pokemon games/mechanics.

This brings back memories..I loved all the Pokemon games, I think I will give it a go once I'm home, thanks for sharing.

They dont supply the rom so you will need to google "fire red rom" and download/extract into rom folder of the client. heartgold and soulsilver roms are compatible too and give better graphical options. For example, to have your pokemon follow you you will also need to download either a heartgold or soulsilver rom.
