    Damage calcs are definitely a work in progress.
    Discovered that there's intended to be a (rather obscure) reduction in AC for PvP damage only, which we were missing. This bridged the gap immensely (so we're reallllly close), but there is something we're still missing somewhere which needs tracking down.
    Magic damage is considerably more accurate now too.

    Juraid Mountain was run a little earlier, which went well.

    It's really just missing a few NPCs (and NPCs not being in their official locations), and various issues with the mobs themselves (their stats need tweaking [also their XP reward needs reducing], aggro behaviour needs enabling).
    The event itself behaved fine, so I think all in all, it went well!

    We'll run it again once those have been addressed, perhaps a little earlier than today's so that we can catch more people.

    Spent a lot of work on damages over the past couple of days, but finally physical damages are now 100% accurate with USKO (that is, the base calcs themselves, and their new damage variation).
    Additionally, aside from the initial bug with magic damages causing them to be generally high, they also seem correct -- the skills we've tested all produce the correct damages as compared to USKO. Nobody's noticed any issues with them since fixing that, so they should be reasonably (if not completely) accurate at this stage.

    If anyone still notices any bugs with damages (note: that is, as compared to USKO; we're not too fussed with custom behaviour at this stage, right now the focus is on getting everything working like USKO), please post a bug report on our forums with as much detail as you can provide so we can check into it further.
    That also obviously applies for any other bugs! ^_^

    Logged in for the PvP Alpha with a group of friends and was very pleased with the server overall. The community has done an amazing job at reporting bugs and I'm truly surprised by the amount of reports and volunteers.

    Don't really see the point in making a USKO copy server, the reason most people dont play USKO is because they dont like the version. You should have come through with a full ROFD server, the best patch the game had ever seen. Ever since then it has gone downhill in every aspect of the game, whether its the lack of farming or just overall fun in PK.

    The server's exp and drop rates haven't been decided yet. The server's concept is also unclear as of now. The reason why they're making everything work like in USKO is to leave the possibility to upgrade open. Anything can be disabled or enabled, everything can be modified.

    Not to mention Krowaz is going to be disabled at first, making Juraid items the best there are (that was ROFD, no?)

    USKO is such a failure because of the lack of customer support, the staff lacks braincells and don't care about anything according to the fact the server has more bugged features than working ones. Unlike USKO the staff of ApexKO will make sure their product will be released at a 100% fully working state. This for sure will be huge populated, and let's hope it stays like that for a long time.

    Tbh USKO isn't that bad (content-wise, not talking about support and bugs)... the krowaz armors and weapons are the biggest offenders, a hit or miss in people's tastes.

    Everything else however have been mostly improvements. Stuff can always be changed or corrected too.

    Fixing the duration item and ibex potions cheese will also be a step in the right direction.

    Also I'm not too sure why your all SO excited, you do realize you need a thousand turks to make an active servers that worth while? All I see is the same 50 people on this forum talking about the server. o.O

    It's in alpha though, so we aren't really seeking players or intentionally "building hype" at this stage. Our complete focus right now is on ensuring everything's working as it does officially (if not better).
    Beta is probably the time to start attracting any real attention (i.e. posts on Turkish forums, etc). For now I can imagine it'd be too confusing trying to explain that this current stage isn't intended to resemble official, and things are intended to be broken or otherwise not yet implemented.

    We just appreciate that so many people right now are checking it out and helping us to improve the server.
