I would come back and play if there was a wipe

Lots of people would, and lots of people would leave after a month. I think it's just that the owners don't want to be those guys who restart servers every couple of months, which is understandable. Some people lose respect for servers that constantly do that. If people gave it a shot they would see that this is one of the most stable and well-designed private servers. If you had an account here once I would recommend coming back perhaps with a few friends.

unfortunately 2 / 3 people coming back won't make a difference to the population, they need something to really boost population like a relaunch or a new launch, or i dont know something different. Without the population there is nothing left.

Also just to note, snoxd has been down for around a week. coincidence? i don't know.

PS i forgot to mention the Level jump event spoiled it rather then helped the server for most players, people spent days, weeks exping to hit 75+, even money, for not even a month to go buy and they add level jump, sure it was good for new players, but the older players kinda got fucked no?

Any English admin that puts effort into bringing a server online nowadays (talking about past 6 months or so) will know two things. Sometimes advertising even if well payed for doesn't meet the expectations, and second the community is "jumpers". Oh and 3rd there's usko official young servers and like a million other private servers around. That being said, job ain't easy for server owners :P

you're absolutely right, and I'm not opposed to a relaunch (I would actually be for it considering how much more activity it would bring) but I just don't think it likely given the amount of times they said they wouldn't.

Either way, I don't want to add to the problem, so I am going to stay on Apex for the time being and not be a "jumper" a Sheldon put it.

Bigger picture: it meant there were more newer players for the older players to play with. It helped both parties there.

The reason people "jumped" from this server were not like any other server, for the most part anyway. For example in many MYKO servers (hard farm, hard exp servers such as Old*****l) people will quit because they aren't first max level, first to make a shard 8, or don't have dragon after a week. However, here, people were jumping (such as MyNameIs and lilorc6) because the blatant issues (fishing for example), were not being addressed to the degree they should have been, or due to a blatant lack of a population to begin with (lots of reasons as to why that happened, could have an entire debate over that).

Overall, if Apex were to relaunch, it would need to attract a bigger turkish population. With all the advertisement done in the past, especially for how many months, with the alpha, beta, pvp beta, etc, I don't think this server will manage to attract that population, doubly so because of Midgards success recently (it's probably one of the most active newer servers so far that they've released within the past 2-3 years(also probably most profitable so far for NTTGame!)). I don't think Apex will be able to relaunch (if they even ever intended to do that) for the next few months to be honest; best thing would be to turn it into a pure PVP for a while and let people fuck around on it, while they adjust things for the next relaunch. As much as I would love to see a server that is completely bugless and huge for the KO community to enjoy (especially a server that a huge english community would play on), I don't think it's feasible to hope the server will make a comeback in it's current state. But feel free to just quote my post, disregard everything I said, and tell me I'm just a hater

The downfall of the server was a sum of alot of mistakes. I got only good things to say about my time there so i will point them out with hope that admins will think about them ( alot ware solved ).

1. When server was lunched there ware items from the BETA ( weapons +8 jewels and armors ) at the INN host of every person that stashed them in BETA. - That resulted in a rant at shoutbox, server down, wipe and so on unessesary fuzz. This was a realy rookie mistake.
2. Rates on Mininig and Fishing ware off the charts, resulting in ppl fishing 24/7 for a solid week and gaining huge advantage ( Foverins +1-+2 weapons +7 ) and alot of attempts to +8 that when ppl see in chat that THE SAME ppl try 2-3 times a day to upgrade like 20 items +7 is realy messed up.
3. Admins didnt know that was so easy for ppl to make macro deleting the unnessesary items in the inventory so ppl made ~5 accounts fishing with Virtual Workstation and ware fishing 24/7 for a MONTH.
4. Scroll bug , where scrolls ware randomly dissapearing when you PK, that was a HUGE issues and it took more than 20 days to be solved witch considering the ppl running the server was a joke. Ppl from my clan ware so pissed about this ....
5. Admis didnt understand that PK EVENTS ware a MUST. Every time when there was KILL the GM event there was massive PK in cz. But that happend like 2-3 times .... There was a little to none events in CZ, resulting on ppl getting bored and yolo do Anvil wich resulted in Rage Quit.
6. EXP Jar Abbuse i am speculating here but this bug, alot of ppl used this bug to make EASY 83 lvl and even to make coins out of it. NOTHING was done to them, and nothing was ever done to cheaters and bug abbusers, cause admins ware scared to lose the even then low population.
7. Clan grade bug, there ware magor bugs in clan system, and also bug abuse to made Royal clan - finaly something was done about it and ppl got punished but not after huge rant at forums ...
8. Brutal manipulation of the market and allowing it to happen ( i am not gonna be a hypocrite and point fingers here, i used it too ).
9. Over all every server has his problems, but this was promised to be different, more proffesional with lightning fast reaction times ... well it was NOT. The strategy of NOT fixing an bug and having the fix just to "wait till restart" was realy dumb, this way you say to ppl "We fixed it but we dont care that much, be abused till we diside to restart the server to the patch be implemend ... ".
10. Liaison, Liaison, Liaison ... keyword. Realy hard to find a good one, but must have. Things must never be allowed to escalate in forums or ingame. This person need to controll and surpress the rant that KO ppl are doing on daily basis. Also that person needs to be informed about EVERYTHING thats going on with the server by the Admins.

+1 for everything Anibal mentioned. I think most of these issues if not all, are related to lack of staff.
However they are recruiting new GM's so finally Aesteris & Two can focus on developing instead of handling all the bitchy things over ingame / forums.
