    You realize you can test other things in the PvP beta right? I don't see why you wouldn't be able to, but that's how you get people online for testing; no one wants to farm / exp in a beta for it to be wiped, whereas people would be more inclined and wouldn't mind if they don't have to exp and you told them what you want tested (let's not even begin the fact that the people that played the beta would also probably play official (like Villains, WreckeD, etc) would run around finding the best things to do (aka min/maxing) so they would test things anyway).

    Also lol @ at the Wrecked Crew, I would love to see you guys actually play against a clan that has decent players, then you can change your clan name to rekt.
    Im pretty sure Aesteris mentioned about elemental damage not applying anymore from rings, thereby damage from all classes will go down quite a bit.
    Also the mage damages were tested pretty good last time, people just didn't have enough FR from their gear to compete with Animosity -mages.

    Unbalanced classes are easier/faster to fix than broken mechanics, and the fishing/mining -issue got players dual fov+1s on first day last time. That is a nightmare to fix.
    Of course players should test everything, last time it was just full PK since people wanted PK-beta.

    Even tho the GM's said they have tested everything, ill have my doubts as always
    That rewarding system just doesn't push players to test quests / farm / rates, only to pop by to get free 100kc.

    We understand some of you want a PvP beta to be able to test the balance a bit more in-depth.

    What has actually changed in terms of damage?
    - Elemental damage on rings only contribute toward magical damage (e.g. mage skills)
    - Passion warriors have been buffed, slightly.

    The reason mages were "overpowered" is because of the uniques (flame rings etc.) entering the game too fast making them massively overpowered compared to other classes. The mage damages are 100% like official, both we (as admins), and a fair few people who couldn't believe it is accurate, have tested this numerous times and concluded it to be.

    As such, we'd much rather have people join the beta the way it's currently laid out, give us some proper feedback on the (pretty much entirely) new rates when it comes to EXPing, feedback on the quest changes (I personally love it), the new daily and weekly quests, the new event schedule, the drop rates, the revised drop list, the new mining and fishing rates (and drops), etc.

    Compared to the changes made to the PvP aspect of the game, the changes made to the PvE aspect of the game are much more massive and need much more testing as a result.

    Nevertheless, we understand the importance to test out the PvP balance changes thus we're thinking of adding the previous PvP beta item vendors sometime near the end of beta to allow for testing those changes as well - which we can probably tie in nicely with some more thorough CSW / Oreads War testing

    Looking forward to hear some feedback on this from you guys though!

    Just two points, mage damage was of course over powered due to what you have quite rightly said about +2 flame rings etc but also because of the lack of Krowaz armour. It doesn't make sense if the mage damage is 100% the same as on USKO if then there is no Krowaz.Secondly I really hope this "slight" buff to passion warriors makes it like USKO because on the last ApexKO Passion was just a complete joke... Also any news about Kurians? They didn't work at all like on USKOI like this new communication though, it's very refreshing thanks!

    Mage nova damage should be around 900-1000 if warriors have 8000 HP with shell set. Just to put it into spectrum I guess. You can still heal it easy, but it makes it possible for mages to play as well. If it goes above that... You're gonna get fucked. Anyway, hope you guys make it this time. I don't know if the Turkish population is going to join though.

    For a good example of working mage DMG values, go check SexyKO's stat settings I suppose. Not trying to advertise or anything, just saying they have the values correct. Also, you might just wanna tweak them as server progresses.

    The mage damage calculations have never changed between versions, the only addition to them ever was the inclusion of elemental damage from slots other than the left / right hand. The passion warrior buff has been made within reason, it's a bit better than Hell Blade now (assuming you have Berserker on, which can have a 100% uptime as the duration on it is the same as the cooldown on it). You'll be able to test it out yourself though

    As for Kurians, this is a very confusing topic as this class has seen reworks more than any other class ever did. At the time of the first server release, the class was working exactly as it was on official. We numbered it the 2nd generation Kurian. The 3rd generation Kurian has seen a LOT changed, which we haven't seen on USKO yet (last time I checked, anyway) - KRKO has seen this change but we're hesitant on changing the class yet again. If you're referring to the first generation Kurian (in which it was all about the DoTs), that one's burried and won't be coming back.

    Well warrior gear is pretty much like this:
    2x Warrior Earring
    Iron Necklace
    Iron Belt
    2x Ring of Courage
    Chitin Shell Set +8
    Raptor+8

    I think they have around 8k HP at level 80.

    Mages are using G3 armor (Silk Robe is the chest piece) and Personal Staff +8 or Scorching +8, and they're dealing between 900-1000 for 255 MP.

    Edit: Did you guys add the AoE skills to passion warriors btw?

    Well for instance Shios+1 were really easy to make,i even used +2s in the end. But yeah at least at the start all were.

    Just like NightSex mentioned before, on Apex mages had flame rings +2 against basically no krowaz (no flame res) armors.

    Krowaz set doesn't have flame resist though. I remember getting 1.5k from novas with 240+ fr, also remember dealing max 1.2k on warriors with my +10 / +3 mage on usko so yeah mage damage needs to be reworked imo.
