They are indeed lacking advertisement. If you check out the turkish servers that reach 2 to 3k+ players they all have pinned topic there, so it's a must. And as you said, it has to linger there for at least a month. I'd also say that it is very important to have a really professional advertisement video clip and a very simple, clean and organised topic, right now the topic is just a wall of text. Not inviting at all (for people who don't know what this server is and the potential it has, ofc). With the right moves this server can break records.

Marketing is everything If you know how to advertise stuff you even can even sell the biggest shit on earth.
But in this case it's like the opposite you have something which is quiet promising and your not advertising it well or atleast still not.
With the right advertise it can be a impact on this KO Area.

Will you make a pinned Topic on KO-CUCE ? Actually its a must to have it there if u want to get a big wave of Turkish Players.
If you planning to post a Topic, do it 1 Month earlier before Offical. Otherwise you wont get +1000 Turkish Players from that Forum.

Not sure on the status of KO-Cuce, but I do know we've been in some sort of backlog since long before alpha (at least 6 months, but it was organised way before that)... we have one up everywhere else. I really don't understand the big deal about KO-Cuce; the queue is insane. Just how many servers are there!?
Not sure if it was KO-Cuce or somewhere else, but the apparently cheaper alternative that few use (board listing ABOVE all the pinned threads, i.e. you'd think higher exposure / more expensive, but nope) was more of an option in the interim. But not sure if that was KO-Cuce or not.

This is indeed true; the ALT-Forums are up higher and cost less (for some reason) - we've been in the queue to get one for a long time and it's not for a lack of trying; they simply barely respond to any of our messages to them inquiring on the status of our alt-forum. We were promised a queue of around a month to two months, it's been WAY more than that. Furthermore, as I'm sure a lot of you are aware, these Turkish forums don't work on a 'whoever pays the most' basis, they work on a relational basis. Seeing we don't have any (real) connections (e.g. favors done for) their admins, and other servers (who could feel threatened by us) certainly do, we're at a distinct disadvantage - use your imagination as to what I'm referring to here. We have been looking at alternative methods to get us on there, which I've only recently (read 2 days ago) heard from we might be able to get a sticky from (not our desired ALT-forum). This sticky would start on 15/05 but I have yet to hear back / get a final conclusive answer from them. We really do everything we can to get exposure for our server. I've been waiting on the translations for our PvP beta to get out there and go in heavier on the advertisement front - as really, without translations we're quite 'stuck' so to speak - all in all I'm sure everyone can imagine it's not an easy task for us to make sure all ends are aligned properly.

We've been long wanting to host a facebook like / share event, and seeing PvP beta is right around the corner, we'll be able to start doing that (there's a LOT of players out there who don't care for 'pre-advertising', they want instant gratification, e.g. the server is available at the time they see the advertisement). In the mean time we do have a normal topic up on ko-cuce, which I've been trying to keep at the top however that's rather impossible to combine with everything else, handling the community, bug fixes, etc. as during their 'peak time' the topics get pushed out in a matter of 2 minutes, it's crazy!

Rest assured, we are doing everything we possibly can.

Well for the players that really believe in the server, we should help to do the marketing, not just expect the admins to bear the entire load. I have two suggestions:

1. We can register on KO-Kuce or other forums and bump it communally.
2. Make a rap video about our knight online server:

I think the closest we'll remotely get is a forum link higher up on the page (which to me, seems better).
As said, we've been in the queue for well over half a year now. The forum link thing is a relatively new thing, but we've been waiting for it (and persistently nagging them about) for several months at this stage also.

Starting to think KO-Cuce's a little overrated.

Edit: We do have a thread there though, but it is in need of updates. And (more) bumping.
