EDITED: BETA will open the 24 of april sound interesting i will play it on mode beta!
Looks like it's going to be one of the best pskos to play. But this version tends to have skill and potion fail issues along with light feet cooldown problems, like cd of lf lasting a couple seconds longer after lf's duration has ended. I hope this server won't have issues like this. And, you should get yourself some publication, especially on Turkish ko forums, I'm sure you're aware of that. If you need translation of your advertisement topic, hit me up.
Skill issues shouldn't be a problem. As for advertisements, a substantial portion of the delay thus far (and extending to the beta launch) has been *because* we've been waiting for ad positions to open up.
We've got a banner ad up on KO-Cuce right now (still waiting for the other bit), and even have some support from KO-fox's owner, so that's nice.
Advertising is a huge waiting game...
I'm assuming the only things left to really work out are incredibly small bugs and things that most of us won't really notice? I can only assume you've given such a long date is due to the advertisement (you want to reach as many people as possible) and finishing touches (probably also so people have time to prepare for the beta and isn't too sudden?).
So many assumptions! But yes, you're pretty much correct on all fronts there.
Honestly, I'd delay beta even longer as I still feel like the ads aren't going to be up early enough (I was hoping for 3-4 weeks in advance, but 2-ish weeks will have to do!), but with the other servers launching soon, if we delay it any further we (probably?) risk losing players to other servers.
Aside from delaying way past that (... and risking losing the hype?), I don't really think there's any better time to launch the beta. Fortunately, it's just beta anyway (so there's still plenty of time to advertise for official), but obviously (player) stress-testing and interest is important.
But yes, the server's been pretty good to go for a while; finalising & touching things up is pretty much all we've been doing lately.
The website is probably the most neglected part, but it's almost ready for an update as we've been focusing on translating it to other languages (Turkish & Spanish currently [huge thanks to Dogamon and Lapis respectively!]), and cleaning & prettying it up (thanks to Vincent's help!). I'll be sure to update this when that's live on alpha (I'll probably update the changelogs at much the same time).
I say this a lot, but I mean it -- we really do appreciate all the help (and interest!) we're receiving from everyone. Without your support I have no idea where we'd be right now!
Incredibly happy to see that the date for Beta has been set. I'll see you there!
The patch notes. The patch notes. I am suprised to see how many bugs have been fixed recently. Dayum just dayum. Ok back to translating patch notes. Patch notes..
Good news..Keep good job mates.
Oh yeah good new indeed! Are there any final numbers on xp/upgrade/drop rates in comparison with USKO? Or are these still being debated?
I am incredibly curious to see how the server will fare against the three thousand server owners ddosing it.
