Some updates, we got stuck with archer cause, since no version 15xx has combo enabled properly, we tried to make it work, and we finally did it, there were some nasty checks to have been re coded properly in order for skills like arrow shower and multiple shot properly work with combo. Further on, the anti-cheat system is compiled we are just adding more checks to it, client is in progress of being nerfed of useless crap and being packed properly with packers that won't show up as false positive in antivirus. There will also be installer, not client.rar. Installer will also have a check if you have net framerwork 3.5 or newer installed on your pc, if you don't it's gonna automatically install it before installing the game, otherwise it's gonna skip. Net framework 3.5 is going to be required to play the server.

Otherwise every day we find some new minor shit we are tweaking and brushing out. Some quests are left to be refurbished. Should be ready for BETA quite soon but I rather not give an ETA before we are in general done with everything we set goals in the development plans.

if i were you i would open alpha mode and add some people that wish to check the server or beta right now becouse you and flash are only 2 people and probably there is tons of bugs more that you dont know so if you would make beta now for a long term beta to fix it or even alpha stage you will find more bugs and you will be able to fix them before the beta.

We are 4 people as darkflamed and penguin are also part of staff. We'll start with BETA phase, but most likey a longer BETA duration which will also count as alpha, hopefully all of the remaining bugs will be found/addressed there and people will be rewarded with KC for reporting them.

so just do it, even if you make beta now it and it will be longer it will be GG only becouse of the bugs that will be found in the game.

Chaotic generator drops have been set today.

We've removed all the non essential items like shells+1 etc since you can get +8 high class weapons and items straight from NPC.
It's made like this, depending on the Gem (Silver being the best) You can get any of the juraid items including uniques. With 17% chance per Gem. If you aren't lucky with those 17% you will simply get default item which is BUS. You won't get any other crap except uniques and buses Rate then goes like this (17% Silver gem, 14% red gem, 12% yellow gem, 10% blue gem, 8% green gem, 5% black gem)

The picture above shows example of exchanging silvery gems.

I'll be working on bifrost drops tommorow in same pattern, meaning all frags can drop any item just the rates will differ depending on the fragment, I will also get rid of other drops, will be only leaving BUS and uniques for bifrost aswell.

but to be honest server dont need any "new unique" things to be successful. Your successful is in the players hand. If 4-6 clans with 20+ active players who play servers longer than 1 week will come there and stay, your server will be successful, but if not, it will die as every other one, doesn't matter how hard admin trying to make his server good, unique and prepared for players needs, doesn't matter how hard secure server is as long as there is not enough clans who will fight against each others and feel balance between nations, such server without 4-6 organized clans will die anyway. U can do what ever u can and spend hundreds of hours codes things and setting everything, and It may seem to you well finished and people should love this in your oponion, but then opening day is coming, some clans not loged and boom, server dies in 1-3weeks becouse random solo players cant group together and enjoy playing.

Thank you for your opinion, it seems that you do not really understand versions and stages of KO progress, you seem to be bottlencked in your little bubble of 2004 MYKO world which is LONG gone and most of the things that you wrote are far off from our concept and you clearly lack understanding at what verson what expansions came,wings came at 18xx and not 15xx. 15xx is certainly one of the most loved versions and with a good concept you can still make a very long lasting server, Sexy KO for example was able to keep up and running for years and years. Success is of course never garantueed no matter the sever version.

Perhaps you should stop spreading the negativity on every server topic, no one really cares about your melodramatic half page essays of how everything sux and how fucked up everything is, beacuse no matter what your subjective opinion is, you cannot really do anything about it and no one really cares, time changes, but if it makes you sleep easier at night...
