Even if you balanced Battle Priest or other class perfectly its still not enought for Deretardo to play this game and be competitive

he wants a paper class to be more than what it is.. Bps are glass cannons what else more does he expect? If you have on paper trash armor ofc you're going to get throttled by anyone smart enough to click a mouse. Detardo is in fact a moron

Battle Priests and mages can get from death match cross rare paper weapon defenses meanwhile melle classes will be able to get only upgradable ones with lower anti defense stats.

Such as:
+5/20 priest spear
Club, Sword variants also.

+6/18 paper DD (this one is more rare)

Like in the old days elite bps had sets of those and kept swaping, depending of situations. Also some weapon defense shields are obtainable from atrosses and riotes but are limited to +2/16 weapon defense max but with paper classes int requirements so warriors can't abuse these shields. (this is to cover gap between the start of server and later progress when you can obtain shields like dread or dol)

Also talia crafting is enabled for mage and priest class, if you try to make a warrior or rogue talia, Proconsul will give acid potion instead of talia.

However it is going to take some time to get full set of weapon defenses and you will have to be pretty good in death match events also or buy them from other players that are ... well good in DM events xD

BP damage overall is extremely well balanced. I balanced it in a way so BP still hits nice damage when in HP build. So that should cover the survivability vs damage aspect of the BP class.

Me and Flash decided there will not be any events active on the launch first 12 - 24 hours of server time. At least not events that are zone based like bdw, death match. We will make some custom pk collection race in CZ instead. So everyone will stick to exp and pk in cz on the launch, and we don't split the people in zones

I never could understand why this server never lasted very long. Everything was great besides all the events at launch. I think we messaged sheldy in game about that and looks like he took care of that issue. Another complaint about launch is giving everyone Jewelry to start and goblin armor. With how fast it was to lvl up You couldnt find full parties of people and when you did they could easily tank a team of mages or archers. People love mass pking and it seems that the start of a private server is greatly dependent on the beginning 3 hours of the server. I hope they got it right this time around because this server and admins are awesome.

A prime example of this was we had a team of about 16-20 people and with goblin and starter jewelry sets we were able to maintain bowl in cz without any competition. Within just 2 hours we had 2 full mastered lvl 70 warriors with +7 personals and many others obtaining master items while the rest of the server quit.

Starter jewels and armor is cancer.

Now i know that alot of this is out of the admins hands as far as teams go. They cant control the fact that people might be joining with 20+ members so if they make it so its hard to obtain master items those teams will further benefit holding bowl and getting those items while others struggle and get frustrated. Its hard to find a happy medium that we all enjoy but i would suggest removing starter jewels and make people farm goblins in cz for the armors/jewels before just handing it to them at the start of a server. Just my two cents from playing each 70 cap.

There won't be starter quest accessory. We will put +4 str for warriors +4 dex for rogues and +4hp for mages and priests as some basic jewel sets.
For highest ones recommended farm is bowl blood dons. they drop upgradable accessory +7. You can also get upgradable +9s from CR events and pk kills gifts and some rarely drop on other monsters too, but best farm for +7s are blood dons.

Starter armor is going to be paper goblin set for all classes, just so people don't lose to much time with handing in those goblin pieces (which is what everyone does on every myko server).

Master is closed for the first stage of 65 level cap.

Master items will come from different sources also. There are random chances to get a master item from collection race events, you can gamble your NPs for random master items (but it can also give you the crap ones like feathers and the rest) and you can also get a random master item from red chest at roughly 9% rate (Red chest rewards to BDW winners)

It is designed so players without big teams also have chance to obtain master items other then from bowl, we are not going to make that type of server where you need to baba master items hardcore or no life 24/7.

That server 2 years ago was the shit. Lasted a month but it was so much fun. We were HateOnUS or MyNameIs I forgot what clan we were but that besides the point. That server setup is what i loved and i believe what killed it was opening +8 just a little to late into that server. Most burnt items and left. We stayed until the end.

thats just it though. i can dedicate myself to a server. most people cant.. this is a community issue not a server issue. it sucks :/

Gold drop has been reduced from all monsters and NPC potion price and weight massively reduced (I remember you guys had pint points about potion weights on last server)

Potion of soul now cost only 6k coins (weight 1.5) and water of favors 4k (weight 2.5) - Other potions are ridicolously cheap like 500 coins for 360hp and 400 for 480 mana so you can use these for leveling easily. Meaning if you are a rogue and you have about 700ish weight you can grab a fair amount of potions for PK now.

The exact point of making potions cheap and low ingame gold is to keep market nice and alive, to be able to keep good weapons armors uniques on merchants.

As a secondary mechanism when server progresses in time and people will have more gold we have knight's medals in sundries, which you can exchange for random items (lowest you can get is chitin+5 or high class weapon+5)

Best items you can get from medal gamble are, OLD uniques (which you can compound to normal ones, or to elemental rings (check how)), Bifrost and FT weapons.

1. We have decided to slightly spice up the cape selection. We believe that keeping it oldschool, MYKO orianted is crucial, but a little spicing up never hurts! The base cape has been changed, G2 green cape has been moved to Grade 3. New style blue cape has been added to Grade 2 & new style Green Cape has been added to Grade 1.


2. We have introduced Forsaken Chitin Shield, which can be obtained from Mini Isiloon. As the server has to progress gradually, Forsaken Chitin Shield will be perfect for our starting cap, so to keep your guys wired during events we will be introducing Mini Isiloon. Mini Isiloon will be dropping old uniques such as Old Iron Necklace, Old Skeleton Belt alongside normal rings & earrings (ROL,EME...).
Forsaken Chitin Shield CANNOT be upgraded and is ment for Priest/Mage class to ensure their survivability during first server stage.


During first server stage (untill late game), Iron Necklace, Iron Belt, Chitin Shield, Glass Belt Will be removed out of the game and the drops will be modified with selection of "Old" uniques with lower stats accordingly.
Full information on the available old uniques & the compound system to regular uniques will be posted in the upcoming days.

Wanted to share abit more details about some EXP quests, so you won't have to break to much sweat exploring the server

You can see all automated EXP quests that you receive upon attacking specific monster on our website - Guide - Quests




However there are some additional quests, you can complete at NPCs, some will also give you very usefull items like packs of scrolls and some coins aswell.
You will find these npcs in emc and luferson town




1. NPC Royal Guard [Quest]

1.1 Champion Quest (One-Time Quest)

Minimum Level: 60

Items you need to provide:
10 blue eggs*
10 red eggs*
10 black eggs*
10 white eggs*
Stone of Deruvish Founder*
Stone of Troll King*
Stone of Talos*
Stone of Snake Queen*
Stone of Harpy Queen*

Reward:
40M EXP
4m Coins
Magic Potions Pack HP

*You can get eggs randomly from rabbits, they spawn every 1 hour on random places in eslant and colony zone.
Each boss will drop Stone of Boss a unique item you will need for this quest.


1.2 The Calm Before The Storm (One-Time Quest)

Minimum level 62

Items you need to provide:
1x Tail of Shaula
1x Feather of Harpy Queen
1x Lobo Pendant
1x Lycaon Pendant

*Elite Karus Guardians are spread around colony zone, they are very disperse so it will take some time to farm these bloods, especially if many players will be looking for them

1.4 The Ritual Quest (One-Time Quest)

Minimum level: 68

Items you need to bring:
10x Key of Hell
20x Abyss Gems
20x Abyss Fire
5x Abyss Blessing
2x Red Treasure Chest

Reward:
100M EXP
12.5M Coins
Attack Scroll


2. NPC Advisor [Quest]

2.1 KNIGHT Letters Quest (One-Time Quest)

Minimum level: 50

Items you need to bring:
Letters K, N, I, G, H, T
They drop randomly from variety of monsters, you can check on website droplist.

Reward:
75M EXP
2m Coins
1500 HP Scroll


2.2 Special Eggs Quest (Repeatable Quest)

Minimum level: 60

Items you need to bring:
Blue Egg
Red Egg
Black Egg
White Egg

Rewards:
Each egg will give different amount of EXP (250k - 2m)


2.3 Etaroth Event (Repeatable Quest)

Maximum level: 67

Items you need to bring:
1x Eatorth Piece*

Rewards:
2m EXP

*Etaroth Piece will drop from Event Etaroth usually hosted by GMs.


2.4 EXP Flash (Repeatable Quest)

Minimum level: 30

Items you need to bring:
1x EXP Flash*

Rewards:
