Tbh, right now, just from my clan for these 3-4 days, I'm pretty sure we donated all together about 500$ at least. And that's only the 30 people that we have. Imagine the rest of the 1000+ people that have made accounts... I estimate something close to like $5,000 already.

All I'm trying to say is that people are willing to pay for the server... we just need to see it being stable though, cause atm, it's just constantly off. I don't know much about developing, but apparently you just need to spend big bucks to make sure it's stable... so even if it is $5,000 to buy that security, why not?... As I said, this is just the money you earned from the 3-4 broken days. In 8 days when the "free" Prem runs out... just alone from prem purchases you will gain another $5,000 worth for that month's prem.

Easily... $5000 will be the daily income. Actually, the first result of "ddos protected dedicated servers" returned me this.

So 900+ users at 13% . Roughly 117 * 30 = 3,510.00$
But I would subtract 2000.00 from that to be generous, and say so far, about 1500$.

All speculation, not angry about it either. To each their own.

But this lack of communication is kind of killing everyone. More downtime than up. I know it's not your guy's fault. Just educate us all. I was blown away when I saw the RIFT moderators, updating their forums every 30 mins, on the minute when downtime hit. It was amazing !

Not expecting that level of community PR, but something would be cool.

Keep up the great work. Hope we don't lose too many because of this.

If anyone is an idiot it would a person that thinks that there isn't a huge profit from selling $3/$2 xp scrolls which last only an hour, on a server with a 1000 people.

Take in mind that the server hasn't really been very stable so far, so some people haven't donated yet and are waiting for the server to get stable before they do so...

But who cares, nobody tells you that you have to donate. Let's hope they fix it, and do as they promise and spend the donations on the server and not on something else.

Hooray, some one who knows math! But seriously, it's around there...somewhere, the amount in donations that is. About $1500.

As for the updates and the downtime, we've tried fixing each little thing that's come our way as it happens, and as you can all see, that hasn't worked out very well.

Let's not forget the fact that our dev's have been staying awake for days at a time, with 1-2 hours of sleep in between, to try and fix everything. So no, we don't have an ETA, and we're not going to give one until 1 hour before it goes up.

For the time being, go do something else, we're not purposely keeping everyone in the dark, there's just nothing to update you on <_<
