It's interesting that we were actually just hit 800 when it was hit first thing yesterday (my time) after being down 200-400 (well, it gradually increased) for the most of the day. They definitely pick the best time.

When it went down last, we hadn't really expected anyone to log in - it'd been down and we'd told everyone there's probably no point waiting around. I don't know how many was on then.

This might all be true... But during the next 2 weeks you can expect the population to decrease even more. (based on how it goes on other farm servers.)
Some symbol hunters will quit once they get a screenshot with their dragon, others will quit cause they feel they got disadvantaged by all the restarts, others will quit because they realise it's not worth their time... and I've said this like 1000 times, people don't bother joining a farm server after it's 1 week old. You can say that even if you whipe this will be the same, yes and no. There's already plenty of people that have quit that wouldn't have quit in the first place if the server was stable.

Don't get me wrong, I will keep playing it anyhow. But just like Nik said, if you only get like 500-600 people max online it's not worth going trough with it with these exp and droprates. This server needs a very large population to be succesful.

I know you probably won't agree with me, but I've played nearly every big farm server and I saw how things went. Oldshoolko being the only exception to what I listed. (let's hope this one is the 2nd)

Edit: I also hope a whipe won't be needed, nobody likes doing the same thing twice.
