Naw that's ok, as I said I won't do it even though I'm so tempted to out of the frustration towards the empty promises... I honestly don't remember if there was ever a time that I've been actually mad over a server release, even it failed... this one I guess only cause it had the highest hopes so far and it failed the most.
Go lick a sheep.
yea i dont think that people that charge back r doing anything wrong at all considering they made the donations thinking that they would get a stable server with some ...
"º Experienced developers will guarantee a stable up-time." was a claim made by shurt when people thought about the server.
I have donated in only in usko but the point is that , just if server goes down 100% then you can charge back or they should send ya cash back till then it somone charges back hes just a "generous man "
Besides the whole charge back situation... It has been well over 72 hours and nothing has been said ever since their last update 4 days ago.
Feeling kinda bad atm for doing a bit ddosing and im saying sorry :P.
Gonna even give a try and a donate .
Hope it comes up !!!
He actually updated IRC : "No news is good news! We ask that you please continue to be patient as we get the server setup for you "
I understand all of your frustrations, but you do understand what "donation" means, right?
you kill the word "donation" in the moment you give items/services that the normal player / non-donator / cant recieve.
Um, no.
The minute the items were tossed into a "pus" and money is converted into virtual currency (KC), well NO -- it's no longer donations, it's a valid internet transaction for virtual goods. Considering people were promised guaranteed up-time by experienced devs, owners, yada ya, -- they have the RIGHT to charge back at this point - and as a server that hasn't accumulated 72 total hours of up time (As far as I know); I think it would actually be in the best interest of the server owners to REFUND all of that money back to the donators until the server is ready.
Not feasible. A lot of the donation money (and although technically incorrect, I'll continue to refer to it as that, as in my mind, the money has been donated to help out the server [which was actually the case for a lot of it]) has been spent on the server itself.
We're almost done, anyway.
