I'm sorry, but I have my own project to finish. Helping out KO-Tastic was a bit of a distraction from that, so if anything, I'm "running away from my 'problems'" by staying here.

Honestly, I see no benefit in running a server that's known to have quite a few holes, some of which that aren't necessarily simple to fix due to design. mgame's entire server design's stupid (the shared memory queue idea only causes more problems than it's worth; if they insisted on doing it this way, - which was an odd way to implement "asynchronous database lookups/use" as it was - it would have been more practical to just use TCP/IP sockets).

As much as KO-Tastic needed help in the beginning, they really don't need me a great deal anymore. I think it's thus far very well on top of all current exploit & dupe issues, so I would think that finishing my own project (something I've been working on - on and off - for an insanely long time now) should return to top priority for me, otherwise it'll never get done. I was supposed to be involved only at the start to help them with issues they experienced, but we clearly underestimated the persistence of certain individuals to come up with or abuse new issues.

Besides, people tend to disagree with my involvement in the server anyway. It's a win/win all around. :P

Drama whore or not, you can think what you want tormentor, it really doesn't bother me anymore. As you'd say, my ego's way too high up in the clouds for anything like that to either phase me, or guilt me into staying.
KO-Tastic's staff have 'got this,' so to speak. And I'm impressed, to be honest.
