Amazing job on keeping us updated. You actually managed to keep probably 1k people on their computers for an hour and a half pressing connect... the least you can do is tell us to come back 2morow if you have no clue what you`re doing... which is what it seems like.

server was supposed to be opened 2 hours ago nd u left us with few comments like almost there etc nd then just dissapeard without saying shit.

Yea,its rather annoying.If you don't know how to fix it,or,if you do but it will take some time to do it,why can't you just say : Server is not going up tonight,sorry for the inconvenience,it will be fixed tomorrow,or some bull shit like that.Why do you have to keep us uninformed,sitting here waiting for the server and wondering if its going to be fixed in 30 minutes,an hour,two,five ? EternalKO fate is going to catch up this server,people are losing patience.

Are you fed up with all the other servers claiming to be "farm-servers" when really, they're just another PK server?
Do you miss being able to PK with only buffs on a bunch of level 30 characters on a fresh new server without having to worry about those warriors with an unlimited amount of 720HP pots and 1500HP scrolls?
Have you been wanting a proper farm server that gives you something more, just like MYKO and USKO used to be?
Don't you miss having something to look forward to, a server that actually keeps you busy and entertained as opposed to all the others where you run out of things to do and just login to PK for a hour and get bored again?
Are you just as annoyed as we are by those servers that crash on a daily basis and their owners have no idea how to fix it?
Do you miss the days when being a buffer was useful for something other than leveling?
What about master skills, ever wanted to play on a server that actually had those fixed?
Are you just as tired of no server supporting a widescreen option?
Have you been wishing for a server where gear actually meant something? Back when you had to work to have the best gear?
Are you just as bored of seeing the same old panels used on every server?
Have you finally gotten fed up with the inexperienced owners and their empty promises?

Should continue to be fine now. Each and every implementation has been tested (against the reasonably high load), individually. Bug here or there along the way, but it's... finally done.

Let's hope it's enough.

Now you see why I absolutely hate giving out ETAs.

Apologies about that, it was actually up, and on time too - you just couldn't connect. My first shout probably got lost in the spam, I was rushing to get it all tested.. didn't want to waste time repeating myself on FB, Twitter, here, and... possibly an announcement on the forums. Was hoping it'd be much quicker than that, but... that's life I guess.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe a well tuned Snort can take care of most, if not all login server attacks. A specific attack is basically a TCP sequence which mostlikely is the same every time. Meaning it has patterns u can identify and block with an opensource IDS/IPS application like Snort. Snort is widely used by security experts all over the world to identify and block all kind of attacks. I'm pretty sure a game is no different.
