I haven't seen him ingame (blame it on the server uptime) so I can comment on his GM performance but as moderator he needs to start respecting the player base a little more. It's unprofessional to curse and ban ppl when they are trying to help like ImNotAlone did. I could see why he got momentarly banned but it was extreme. In my oppinion and until proven wrong, he's the worst gm of the KOStatic staff.Originally Posted by gramps

in all honesty in most situations the moderator/gm that everyone hates is always the best.
Why?
Because you already do not like them. What will they lose when you do something stupid and then get yourself banned, or muted. You think they were put into that position lightly? Not only that but its least likely for them to show favoritism.
Just because someone gets butt hurt about being muted/banned and runs to tell their friends and then some flame war starts, you think they will lose their moderator privileges? You think they will stop doing what their doing because a few people don't like him/her?
Too funny.
In all my years of gaming and being active on a few select forums as this one, i have yet to be banned or muted.
(oooo there u go thinking about the fact that no one cares if I've been banned or muted.)
Thats the kinda mentality that gets you banned/muted in the first place.

Glad to hear the Ko Tastic staff is not going to just give up as i would enjoy playing a bit of KO again. And these whispers im reading about their being a wipe seem to be spreading and was wondering if there is a chance of it happening or not.
Does not really affect me as either way ill be playing but all i hear from friends and reading other posts is that their are people who will not come back because they wont wipe and people who will quit if they do wipe.
this is a random idea but why dont u release the ip of the ddos'ers or post em somewhere else so the ppl who knows about ddos can ddos em, a little taste of their own medicine would be good

It'd be better to make the wipe decision now rather than later. With all this endless speculation it's just getting more and more hyped up as every day passes, and in the end it's this issue that'll steal all the limelight when the server opens, not the actual fact that the server is finally open. And when it does you don't want a completely split community with one half raging and one half gloating, you want both sides giving plenty of fanfare and spreading the word, that's how players get attracted to the server.
In short - get this over with and let them move on already - it'll be good for all of you.

Seeing as how I never played Diez, how can I be biased to these..."diez homos" ?
I'm not pro or contra the wipe, each decision has it's advantages and disadvantages. I just hope the admins will make the right decisions for the right reasons.
Well it`s either `diez`or `homo`... you are the unfortunate one to follow under the category of `homo`.
