They wont wipe it right now. Reason behind it is because they would look stupid if they wipe and then experience the same DDoS trouble.

Id wait for the server to proof itself stable and then if it needs a wipe i guess they should do it. But only after the server is prooven stable.

It's unnecessary to prove it stable. If it fails on friday with or without a wipe people will just quit or are you willing to wait another week if the server is unstable but isn't wiped ?

Yeah, i think id be willing to wait another week. Its not like ur sitting in front of the PC. Just do something else, play something else, untill its good and ready.

Besides, chances are everything will be ok once it opens. So just wait untill its stable and if there is very few people online, then you can start asking for a wipe.

I see, good for you, but I don’t think the majority of the community shares your patience. Anyways that’s not my point. I can assure you I just came back to play KO because I heard twostars was making a server, otherwise I’d be playing DotA. It’s not about waiting 1 week or 1 year, hell I’ve been waiting for ndko for about 5 months now or more I don’t even remember.It's about credibility.Even though the downtime was not Twostars fault , but DDoS attacks , he’s losing a lot of credibility due to this and trust me , that’s something hard to recover. Anyways, I hope everything goes well this time and the server is decently protected from DDoS attacks, but even so a wipe is needed and I think you know as well as me all the reasons for it.

Couldn't agree more. When you look at it, either way, with or without the wipe, if the server is still constantly DDOS'd, then the end results are the same... that there is no hope for the server even with such an expensive server and people will just leave. So if you ask me, what's the difference? Might as well wipe, give everyone a fair start without down-time, and in the case of DDOS attack, which seems very unlikely at this point due to the cost of the server, well then you lost most and if not all of your population.

stupid decision if you ask me, server will not have more than 500 people when it opens and in 1-2 weeks there will be like 300 in a server as hard as this one thats more or less empty server.

lol dude!u wont be happy with 300 ppl online?Look arround ya!Its the only new oldstyle server who has alot of ppl playing it and i dont think its hard!From the first day went 42 lvl fll goblins stiletos +8 and after that server closed..but I hope to be back again ^_-

Yes i will not be happy with 300 people online, in a farm server with this kind of rates. I will try to explain it to you ... by saying this when the server lunched there ware 986 people online if i dont mistake... i was playing for like 4 or 5 hours cant remember corectly but i more or less entered every "city" in my side and there ware people allmost everywhere : Delos Dungeon, outside Moradon, Lycoans in EMC, Stingers, Ash and so on basicly people from every lvl can find party easy. After the first down time there ware like 632 people online then again i played like 2-3 hours there ware no people exping on the low lvl mobs ( Ash, DTS, Lamias, Stingers and so on ) basicly if you dont get Apos or Deru party you have to solo. Now make that 300 people and add the people that will open merchants in Moradon, i am sorry that i cant say it more clear but English is a hard language for me, i am trying my best.
300 people online in two nation 150vs150 is for Light farm / PK servers.

In the last uptime the server list showe to me 320+ player before it crashed so saying 100 +-50 is a bit low . I personaly expect around 600-700 people at this start ( if no wipe ) and in 2-3 weeks who knows ... i hope i am wrong and its way more.

You are right..I hope at least to increase the exp/drop rates if they 're gonna wipe.
