That's called E-Mail marketing, means that you use a program and you send a bunch of emails to potential KO players.

If you are harvesting people's email addresses without their explicit permission for the very purpose which you want to use the email address for then it would be illegal in most countries.
If you got the explicit permission from those people's email address you gather and they know that their email address would be used for whatever purpose it is intended for then it would be okay.
It all boils down to whether the email address owners knows what their email address is used for and if they given full permission or not.
It might be illegal by the law to send emails without the person subscribing to it, but when it comes to an 'ethic-question' i'm pretty sure most of the players will be happy when they recieve a new E-Mail regarding a specific knight online server.. If they find it abusive, they can report it, and move it to junk..
So it's not a big deal... You, nickos are doing a lot of things that are against the law, so why bother with some little e-mail thing?
DrevinKO is one of the rarest server, that is paying bills and withdrawing funds through registered company, which makes it legal and don't give a chance for a lawsuit on the court, which on the other hand ProffesionalKO can be sued for selling virtual items without paying taxes..
But since this Knight Online, nobody is going to sue you, or even report you.

We're doing the same thing by hosting a private server. The only difference is that one of us is doing it with more success and dedication (i.e. ProfessionalKO).
ProfessionalKO is consistent regarding the obligations of it, including taxes (hence, this post: http://www.gamers4life.com/forums/f1...ml#post3225940 )

Now, about the emails;
It's funny, though, to complain about if it's legal or illegal instead of apologising to those who played on your server and you made use of their personal data for your own benefits.section 7704 of the USC which explicitly states that it is illegal to sell (including lease, exchange, or otherwise transfer or release) an email address (in your example, email address lists)

Nope, those panels are not being sold by first hand, but it's just reselling for 1) Jowin 2) Vincent, i put them there after talking to them.. The only panel that was sold or given free is SexyReplays one, that was bought for 150$ from SNMaster.
Nothing was sold, just SexyReplays panel.
What kind of use? Those E-Mails are 3 years old, and they never been sold.

Right. Oh well, I don't think it's a big deal. It's rather annoying to get spam from server owners, but I don't see anything else wrong with it.
It isn't illegal, banks in America buy customers emails and addresses from other banks when buying them out. I mean sure is this frowned upon to basically sell someone's personal email? Sure. But it isn't illegal.
If you're going to add credits to people for there panel? At least add Jowin the guy that designed the top one... It was originally designed for my own use, glad you're selling it.
They still need the players to play and to donate to keep up the server. I can't imagine why people like to waste their money and time on servers that last 2 month max and reopen 2 month later. Most of the KO community had age up and move on with their life.

I'm saying that for Jowins and Vincent's panel. Jowin's panel is actually a poor copy of the panel that was created for Knights-United back in 2013, however the original one is not being sold.
As for your panel, don't you find it funny that XionaKO panel went in other hands? So brandon, or someone was/is selling your work to others?
What's the difference, some people are giving your panel/pus for free, isn't better to sell it? Or people can give it for free, but can't sell for few dollars to give you some value. If there is some problems, i'll tell to him to delete your panel out of the selling list.
So technically, everyone is selling Twostars work,right? I believe most of the panels use your code, so basically it's all the same, just few little changes and different design.
But why is your panel is so easy to get on the market? Probably, because you been giving it for free, or selling for very cheap.. You should sell it like vincent, who puts a price of 500-1000$, so nobody can leak it, or sell for cheap.. Example @ DrevinsKO panel.
