Well some people decide to no life the server in the beginning, thus giving up on doing stuff to play the game hardcore for the first few days. I can see why a delay like this would piss ppl off. If I had to work hard to get a day off to have fun with friends on the launch date and it got pushed back a day or 2, I'd probably forget about the server as a whole.

Never undestood that. So what if you arent top np holder ? Whats the big deal if you arent max level ? Will you not still have fun joking around while gaming with your friends ? Why the need to nolife a video game to be on top ?

If a failed pko launch can fuck up your day, I think something is wrong lol. That would mean you have absolutely nothing else to do, which is kinda sad if you think about it.

Regardless of Kallops post, jeff isnt wrong in what he said. I actualy agree with him. When I was playing and a server would go off id just go do something else after a while. Even if it is playing another game, you dont even need to go out jajaja just do some other shit instead of wasting your time waiting. No one forces us to stay refreshing panel for updates. Allways funny to see the people who actually got mad and raged because of it.

Worse case scenario is you went out and a friend calls or messages you to know its back, then you waste whatever time takes you to go back home. Best case scenario you found something better to do and play when you get back.

People might disagree but, its just a game. People who get mad over shit like what Kallop said is something I dont understand since I would not put my life on hold to play anything. jeffrie is not wrong lol. Even if its a douche thing to say, he is right.

It's not about right or wrong... It's about where you put your priorities, I personally enjoy launches of KO servers so I put it on the top of my priorities for Friday and no I am not even that mad that it didn't launch I'm mad that he didn't say shit till 7 hours later.

Didn't say it's about having the most nps or anything. I prefer nolifing a bit in the beginning to relax when the server gets older. "I have a life" is a totally overused excuse that people use when they simply don't have time to play. Maybe you aren't as enthusiastic of a player as others but still. It's just your lack of time which you call life. I've always found it ridiculous how people separate their "real life" from gaming. Gaming is a part of my life and my free time. I also hang out with my friends whenever I get the chance. Also, take in consideration the fact that the launch time might be different for other people. If a server launched during the day, It would probably be easier for me to find something else to do meanwhile. But let's say it starts at 10 PM. In the evening, if I'm ready to play the game and I have nowhere to go. I will probably have nothing else to do but play the game, especially when I don't really play other games atm. So when I can't play the game after 10 PM and I have nothing else to do. How do you want me to react? Technically the administration team couldn't bring the server up and you've ended up wasting hours of your life and your free time, which is something of high value for some people.

Random off topic story from last summer. I worked an average of 10-12 hours a day (not volunteering btw, I got paid but technically I was a slave.) and my regular working hours were from 8 AM until 6 PM. There were also exceptions where I would work even 18 hours non stop and wake up 6 hours later to do a 14 hour day of work. I'm a person who values his free time over anything so during the summer I valued those moments that I had with my friends OR at home, doing whatever I wanted. Because I had to work around the clock basically, I had almost no free time. This is why I told myself that I wouldn't let work get in my way, so I decided to sleep less to get 2-3 hours of 'me time' for myself. Probably never done anything as unhealthy as not sleeping that summer. I went over 2 months without sleeping more than 5 hours a night. Sometimes I'd stay up until 4 am and wake up at 7 to go to work. I didn't really care if I was tired. I almost passed out a few times. Fell asleep while driving a couple times. But at least I didn't end up losing to my job in my little battle of wills. I ended up having some free-time at the cost of sleep and physical health, and it was most definitely worth it.
