Back when server has 450-500 player base on peak times. That was the good old days. I'm kinda wishing hard for a re-launch, and if it does, imma drag zeus's ass to start back. xD

Sorry to tell you, but nobody actually wants to grind XP these days. People will tell you they want to grind and they want the game to be hard, but they will not play when the time comes. KO players wish for so many things from private servers, that do not actually represent their actual wishes. The server was fine in terms of activity and economy, which made it a very newb friendly server. The Black/Red chitins did not destroy the server, it was actually quite the contrary. It made farming fun once again and gave new players an easy way to very good gear. It did not make older items useless, but it made it easier for new players to join.

I've seen you post it a couple times how you want old farm servers replicating the old feel of ROFD or 12xx version, but you do not realize how bad it actually was. There's a very small minority of players that would actually want to play with the old school rates. The main focus of any server ever should be PvP. All events and activities should be designed with PvP in mind.

I reckon a server should try a concept similar to WoW.
Give basic gear for PvP, so everyone starts on the same playing field, and let players buy gear for NP's.
Start in maybe goblin gear, and be able to buy FP gear. etc etc.

Change the way awards are given to top NP players, they either decide to keep their NP's to gain <x item/weapon/something> or sell NP's to gain that new piece of gear.

Meh, but in the end, KO is just all about shitting on people who get lucky on the anvil.
