The Open beta has officially come to an end!
The server is off-line as of right now and will continue to stay off-line until Saturday 6th 2010 when Knight-Empire returns and officially opens its Gates back up welcoming its old and new members with open arms.
We appreciate the time and effort every single one of you has put into the server over the last few days, helping us find bugs and ultimately fixing them, we're aware that some - such as the quests - remain to be fixed, but not to worry the patches are already done and completed for the most part, all we have to do is apply them.
Also we'll be compiling an entirely new client and put it up for those that do not have it yet or wish to use a new client rather than the beta client. For everyone else, nothing will change - really, we'll be offering all the changes in an external patch download as well as automated download through the launcher approximately 30 minutes prior to the Server Opening.
As already announced before the beta, the exp rates will be significantly harder in the official, but even for the ones amongst you that do not have the time or will to be playing 24/7, we're trying as hard as possible to balance it for just about everyone, from casual player, to student to the "no
life" amongst us, and with that, we'll be introducing a new level cap system. We'll be setting the level cap at 62 for the start of the server, then judging by overall statistics based on level and player items we'll be increasing it step by step as we need see, all the way until we reach 70 at which point we're stopping entirely, after all.. this is Knight-Empire.
We're also still toying with the idea of adding Ice Arrow to the archer class (please be so kind and state your opinion and ideas regarding this matter on the forums, in the end it all comes down to what the community wants.)
Additionally we're thinking of - eventually, some time in the near future - expand our forums further more to suit all our players needs by offering different foreign language based sections (such as; Turkish, Swedish, Hebrew, polish and more to come). I'd like you to take this chance and apply for a moderator spot on one of those boards in our Staff Application section on the forums.
Some of you may have the one or other concern regarding drop rates, especially those of Crystals, but please be aware that as already stated on the forums the drop rate will be perceived entirely different with the exp rates to come in the official, however if the problem still arises and some of you feel that it needs to be increased we'll be adding Gem drops to the various colony zone bowl monsters such as (Riote, Atross, Blood Don, Cardinal and Harunga) at a low rate.
With that being said, and hopefully having covered all of your main concerns, we hope to see the all of you back in the Official Launch on Saturday evening. No exact time can be given yet, but be sure to check back in on the news section of the website and the forums as we'll be posting further announcements soon.
