Sure "Stages" were something good however I had some thoughts why dont do it:
- People who are "Hard farmers" wont get bored that quick
- Upgrade will be spread over time. Its always less chance to make item +8 if you go with 5 items few times instead of if you collect 20-30 +7 for 2 months and then throw all in
- There wont be situations such as "You open +8 all people quit" etc. In my opinion it doesnt matter when it would be opened but its about people who think it does and start to panic then infect others
- As you can see literally all the MYKO servers use "Stages" now. So our point on it is also to make our launch something different

Stages just ruin servers. It would be much smarter to give people access to a bigger variety of gear and gear progression, but just keep +8 and possibly even +9 upgrade rates very low. Allowing people to "catch up" doesn't actually achieve anything, because the hardcore players will simply get their gear to a satisfactory level and then grief and raid the people trying to farm and catch up. If they could spend their time farming instead, then the prices for lower level gear would also drop and help people catch up organically.
Then, even once the casual players catch up, the hardcore players will still probably wipe the floor with them in PVP. The difference between a +7 set and a +8 set in a MYKO server isn't that big at all, but casual or bad players feel the need to blame the gear gap for their losses. Sure, iron sets make a massive difference, but there are ways already implemented in many servers to bridge that cap too. It's insanity to think that having multiple phases that provide minimal content for the most active players would be healthy for any server. Servers stay alive as long as CZ stays alive, so as long as you cater to the newcomers and the active PKers, then you're on a good track.
+1 to kallop. U should open +9 already with just 1% . Guys with BALLS will try it and if they achieve they achieve. simple as that. That makes ur server have some worthy .

i think it's good time for a little PK mode before BETA for players who not playing or waiting for Project - KO ,
maybe we can making some questionnaire for it what ppl think about that idea
maybe 70 lvl with items +7 +0 for PK ?
I guess I should've added that allowing people to burn their excess +7 items will also help keep the market healthy, because you won't end up with a market oversaturated with +7 items that nobody needs.
