i dont know about anyone else, but i had to copy paste the ip adress (go to the panel, look in your url) into the Server.ini file, then it updated and started fine for me.

since its in beta and i got to around lvl 40 on an assasin (and it was pretty boring since i had to solo lol)...

(this is regarding beta; i dont know how the server will change at launch)

Pros:
-I like farm servers, so.. this.
- money wasnt a huge issues. i gained about 1.2m between lvl 30 and 35 at death knights (bones nearly always dropping, 5k each, + coins, + scrolls rarely)
- it seems pretty ballanced, though the obvious choice for the beta is a sin since +8 stelletos are easy to get.


Cons:
- i didnt get 500k from the beginner helper (which wasnt a huge deal but still, a bug is a bug)
- it was kind of laggy.. not unplayably so, and only occasionally though.
- apparently the current client files contain a server.ini file that points to 127.0.0.0 or something. thats why no one's online testing it lol, because everyone thinks the server is offline hah.


/Offtopic, Sacredheal, how long have you had that name? i feel like i played with you YEARS ago on ares in adream.. like right when it first came out, and MrFaun was just demolishing everyone... *sigh* the good old days of KO...

oh sweet lol. i kept making new chars on different servers in those days because everyone had a grass is always greener complex about every other server hah.. i think the longest i really played a dcz character was CardboardRogue, a lvl 59 sin.. but christ, that account got hacked in like 2008 hah..

its kind of a pain since i never really decided finally on a persona online until recently, now its impossible to get back in contact with everyone i used to know on knight online lol. i've just been stalking these boards for oh.. 3 years? lol.

oh and to atleast try to make this post on topic, bump for this server. seems decent.
