Searching for a folder of the image files for item textures

where would i get one of these? just wanna play around with changing colors and things when I'm bored.

the private server section doesn't seem laid out very well, and the PS section is who would have this folder laying around.

You can find Item Textures in Item File.

king_baton.DXT > King Item
weapon_dagger01.DXT > Some of the daggers
item_co_crossbow.DXT > Horn Crossbow
blade-006.DXT > Mirage Sword
12141000.DXT > hanguk sword in there

You need DXT Editor to open th

necro but going back to this, usko and stko no longer has the files out in the open, which is why i needed an item folder from somewhere else.

Should be fairly straightforward, just load up [Your KO folder]\Item\item.hdr in the exporter, hit "Export", pick somewhere to export to and do what you need to do.
Note that when you next run the launcher it will import all stray files in the Item folder, so you want to export the folder somewhere else and only put the files you're changing into the Item folder for the launcher to import.
Also note that it simply adds files to it when importing, it doesn't merge/remove old files... so you'll end up with the file being insanely large if you let it import the entire folder back in. Export it elsewhere to be sure.

If you do happen to export to the same folder, just remove all files but item.hdr & item.src and you'll be fine.

very helpful, thanks a lot twostars, up until now I've had to download random private servers and look for ones that have the files not compounded. So this will make it a LOT easier.
