I have tried, re-installing. Turning off my virus protection(avg) I am running it under an admin. account. I have windows XP so if anyone could help, i'd be greatful and i'd love to join the beta with everyone!
I literally had to uninstall AVG to get the full folder to extract (524MB)
really? did u re-install AVG after it was downloaded and installed?
turn avg resident shield off
install ko4lifko
then set exceptions for both the exe and the launcher
turn on resident shield
all is good
Can i get a walk through on how to do this? I've never heard of a resident shield

for avg go to toolls-> advanced settings -> add the files launcher and .exe to excluded files(under resident shield). n u're done.
