And that's why I love KO/KE so much. All those random noob rogues will be dead meat without their 5k mana and +3 jewel sets. It's rather easy to effectively control your minor with only 2.3k mana.. it only really becomes hard when you're 2.1k or below.

Well I was sort of refering to the server I was playing which was huge, Xydonis - MYKO. I mean I've seen lighing mage around, but I would say around 5% of the whole mage population consisted of lighting mages. I personally never liked lighting, and always find it more effective to slow then stun,... since we are talking about KE, the party based pk, and not chasing 1 person, in which case the stun would most the time come in use. Mostly didn't like it cause of the stun rate, it was shit as hell.

Myko only had 1 light mage who is worth mentioning and she quited after beta ended. Besides, 1 decent lightning is worth 3-4 other randoms in party, unless they are perma full healing/tormenting priests xD

Playing LR mage in the old KE was so fun. Stunning those paper mages with your 42 blade and seeing them die soooo slowly. Nothing could beat that. I always putted myself in their position and see them swearing infront of their screen

imo best mage with 70 lvl cap would be ice mage with 45 points to lightning ;P cuz its the 42 blade u use to stun! i rarely have stunned ppl with novas but i've seen ice novas do alot slowing besides when ppl are slowed down u can run around em and go stun the priest =D
