    how to stat to be a tanked mage, that hits hard....
    atm im 160 int, 70 hp, rest mp
    should i go crystal build, with the same in hp, full mp?

    basically whats the best mixture for dmg/ac/hp.. in your opinions (70+ ofc)

    Well it all depends on a preferences , I would personally sacrifice 53 def comparing crystals +9 to completes +8 to gain my mp maxed out .
    About stats , either 160 int ,either 144 int(if crystals +9 are avaliable to get ) , 1 into str ofc , and mp is a tricky ... most mages will say that 200 mp is enough , and I can agree with that only for light mage . Only advantage flame has comparing to 2 other sub-classes is high dmg .. u cant slow neither stun . Its different when u rush into mass of ppl trying to stun and u need good balanced hp , mp , and def .. and when u r staying behind and blow ppl's asses off . IMO , I would go with maxed out mp ..
    For uniques that would give u nice mixture .. here is some clue :
    Dual FR+1 , EP+2 , SSE+1 , CE+2 , and belt is most arguable item ... most ppl have different opinions .. and every1 have some reasons to defend them .. but at +0 I would pick IB > GB for builds that include G1,G2,G3 robes .. starting from crystals ... and especially on higher lvl's when u get nice mana per 1 int point .. IMO GB>IB . Staff is other tricky thing . Hell blood +7/(especially +8)is good cause of int bonus , fr .. and really good ap , but if u cant afford Flame rings .. I would go with Elixir+8 to balance elemental dmg ,but with Hell Blood , which I used with dual Fr+1 .. I must say , there were some really nice dmg's =)
    With uniques I just mentioned with those 2 builds u would have stats CLOSELY to this :

    This is considered with Complete+8 set for 80. lvl mage , and with IRON BELT .
    Total Def : 420 + 24 + 24 + 28 + 24 + 19 + 50 = 589 + (80 for lvl ) + (50 ac valks) = 719
    Base hp = 50 x 15 = 750 hp
    Total Health Bonuses : 5 x 15 + 2 x 7 + 20 + 15 + 16(points in HP) = x 14.8 = 2072 hp
    Total Hp Bonuses : 300 + 100 = 400 hp
    Total Ressistances :
    - FR = 22 + 22 + 15 + 34 = 93 + 30 basic = 123
    - GR = 7 + 7 + 15 = 29 + 30 basic = 59
    - LR = 7 + 7 + 15 = 29 + 30 basic = 59
    Base mana with 160 int = 5286
    Total Int Bonuses : 10 + 10 + 24 = 44 x 27.7 = 1219
    TotalMp Bonuses : 200 + 80 = 280
    1 x Health point on 80 = 14.8-15hp
    1 x Int point on 80 = 27.7 mana
    160 int / 230 mp / 66 hp / 51 str
    Mage on 80 lvl :
    HP = 750 + 2072 + 400 = 3222+15hp sc(3444) DEF : 719 +(20 for pathos gloves + 350ac +around 30 for enchant scroll ….. >> 1100)
    MP= 5286+1219 + 280 = 6785

    With Crystal +9 set build , ur stats would be something like this , IRON BELT aswell .
    Total Def : 367 + 24 + 24 + 28 + 24 + 19 + 50 = 536 + 50(ac valk) + 350(sc) + 30(enchant) +80(lvl) + 20(pathos gloves) = 1066
    Base hp = 57 x 14.8 = 843
    Total Health Bonuses : 5 x 19 + 2 x 7 + 20 + 15 = 2131
    Total Hp Bonuses : 300 + 100 = 400 hp
    Total Ressistances :
    - FR = 22 + 22 + 15 + 34 = 93 + 22 basic = 123
    - GR = 7 + 7 + 15 = 29 + 22 basic = 51
    - LR = 7 + 7 + 15 = 29 + 22 basic = 51
    Base MP : 4842
    Total Int Bonuses: 10+ 10 + 24 = 44 x 27.7 = 1219
    Total Mp Bonuses : 200 + 80 = 280

    1 x Health point on 80 = 14.8hp
    1 x Int point on 80 = 27.7 mana
    144 int / 255 mp / 57 hp / 51 str
    Mage on 80 lvl : HP = 843 + 2131 + 400 + 222(15hp sc) + 2k buff = 5566
    DEF = 1066
    MP= 4842+1219+280 = 6341

    For both builds , staff that's been used in calculations is Hell Blood+8 .
    I hope this gave u some clue , though these r made for lvl 80 mage , but at least u've got some tips I think .
    Do what's best for you , but w/e u chose , with these stats and decent skills .. I will use only 1 word ... unbeatable =)
    Only bad thing about crystal build is that u cant use it on newer servers w/o crystal dd 25 ;S I just noticed that u r on C-W , so that would mean that complete build is the way to go . But in any other situation where crystal dd and +9's are avaliable , I would personally go for that .

    im on cwest.... so its a choice between complets +7 and crystals +8 ^_^
    oh, i forgot to mention i have iron set

    i my opinion on c-west


    elixir +8+
    max mp
    duall bronze earrings +2
    duall ROL or duall flame rings
    EP+2 to balance your HP or IN
    complates +7 + anti DD + SD + club def in your inv
    iron belt or glass ( glass > ib in VS in my opinion xD )

    smoldering sell me flame rings dont be gay !!! i need it )))

    hmmmm imo, if u want a mixture of damage and being able to tank, why not go ligtning mage? with imir rings and elysium, u'll be able to do decent amount of damage + stun and cancel priests heals/duffs........... and stun will help u tank since if ppl are chasing u and are close, u can spam blade and they'll get stunned and then u can tp ur party or w/e

    Or go ice mage, i know a friend in ardream that hits crazy amounts of damage as an ice mage, and he is able to somewhat tank since ice slows people quite high rates.... And ice mage items are MUCH cheaper than fire mage ones, so with same budget u can get much better gears which would make the difference in damage between these 2 elementals, smaller. (for exmaple, on pathos, shio = 350m and FR = 700m, so u can get a shio +1 and +0 for the price of FR +0 duals, ...)


    but if u hafta stay fire, i would say then go use complete build, since u'll hafta put extra stats for crimson DD helmet and crimson wepaon defences for ur mage, might as well add a bit more poitns and then u can use completes....
