    Full Plate set : AC= 437 STR= 75

    Chitin set : AC= 530 STR= 60

    I would say chitin yes your losing 15 str bonus but look at the def you get

    paul/pads and helm chitin. boots and gauntlets fp.
    This is because they will see ur chitin and u will look better
