Armor for archers 80+ questions

Hi guys,i have archer 81 lev on carnac-west serwer and im wondering what is the best armors :some mix 2 krowaz pieces+some +9/19dex or full +7 krowaz ?i wanna get some more ap but still keep ressists.Waiting for any help thanks(i have krowaz+6 set atm btw}

shell set +9 is the best for archer, krowaz set +7 after that.

i found kinda interesting having krowaz pauldron + pads, and rest +9 (fp/chitin/shell what ur budget allows ofc), i know the bonuses from pauldron and pads aint big, bit imo small things makes the difference.

thats what i have been using for the longest time, never looked back

bonus just stacks up with the other stuff you're using, and the AC is pretty nice.


I switch off between full krowas for tank to +9 pieces for AP. When I taking a TK or a Talos or in places like bowl where distance shots are made difficult by terrain, i kinda prefer having the full krowaz on.

the fact you should be out of harms way (supposedly) doesnt mean u should stick to ap whore armors.

just get krowaz +7 and build full ap uniques and use the money from the +9s to get +3 BDN, +3 elf ring and such. because eventually someone will run up to you and 1 hit you, or even better, those nova happy parties will destroy u before u even realize whats going on (itll be very frustrating )

inshort: krowaz is invaluable in cz, no other armor even comes close

edit: if you still wanna leave out a krowaz part... try leaving the pauldron.

dex stats are untouched, same with GR / LR. you only lose 400 mp and 100 hp and the defense of course.

which is not a lot imo, i had shell8 pauld + krowaz for a long time

Its intresting guys,i have 2300ap with wolf on 81 lev(krowaz+6 set,dual lb,dual hr,elf belt and pp(iron set when vs)).Im just wondering what i can change to get some more ap but still keep ressist and def(im use wf+7).So better idea is make pp,eb to+3,lb and hr to+2 or change armor and bow.I have some like 60gb now and justlooking best way to put ap litlle bit higher

The best set that you can use at the moment for archer
is shell set +9/11rev.
Archers need now more ap because of that there is no combo for archer anymore
you you should get more ap or just go Sin..

An assas is burst damage, with a shell set 9 you would need arrow shower hack to beat the dmg...

Archer damage (ranged) is mostly over time: 1 measly dark pursuer at a time versus the full damage of a combo

i suggest set of krowatz +7 - all in normal price, if u have got a lot of gbs go chitins+9, shells+9

i suggest krowaz + 7 set... archer r always 1st target and and easy choice after mage .. u need a def for tanking ......
