CHD+7 rev vs Shard +9 on off hand (DCZ sin)

I would personally use the chd+7 rev. In your case though you got some nice resists already, so i dont see the need for a CHD, so yeah i reckon use a shard+9 off-hand.

chd +7rev. the 33 ap diffrence wont be noticable , and you ll get more ele / WD/ res/ and tbh you can never have too much of em . + they look more sexy , and ye CHD and DV are ment to be off-hand weps so ..

Ok so if i get a Shard+9 instead of a CHD+7 rev it will give me:

- 33 AP

but the CHD+7 rev will give me:

- 41 Elemental damage more (and glacier instead of poison)
- 8 Club defence
- 16 to resistances
- Minus 91 HP / 133 MP

My resistances with shard+9 will be 70/50/100 (FR/GR/LR)

Opinions?

- Forget the price difference
- Please give a reason for your choice with actual pros/cons or w.e.

if price diff ain't an issue for you then shard+9!
reason: get as much ap as you can to do the best spike+thrust ever that's just according to my little experience in playing sin LOL

CHD +7rev all the way...

everybody is talking like shard is better cause of extra 33ap but thats just visual,

you'll hit the same dmg with chd cause of the elemental,

even more to highly armored players just like bknight said.

I used cleaver +9 and chd +8 and I just loved those weapons...

ele dmg ftw!

p.s. get a chd with higher + if you can...maybe a +9rev?

This may be a placebo effect, but back when I played, I would never ever get slowed with a chd8.

But when I had an Exp Shard 9 in off hand the slows would happen way more.

If they haven't patched it, im pretty sure the CHD has wayyyy more resist then it says.

Also, its all about the sex appeal dude. CHD +11 rev or gtfo. =P
