The data is only numbers, very inconclusive. The fact that he says below 950ac fails less negates any truth to his statements in my eyes. I believe it's completely random. If your skills fail once every 100 spikes who cares anyways?

The data you posted just says- "guess what?! i just did not prove anything, I've posted inconclusive results"
If you make a claim about a feature, it needs to be backed up.

Seeing as many of us are not trying to prove the existence of a feature, (that is absurd from many points of view, especially a computer programmer) I don't see the need to look back at this debate, anyone with a brain is able to look at what has been posted and decide for themselves.

oo and Shaula tails in your Inn will give you a higher chance of a drop from a boss
and although shell 7 gives you the same defense as some chitin 8, the shell will make you receive less damage
and weapon defense works on mobs (arrow defense on orc bandit officer, sword defense on dragon tooth skellies)

In fact, you might be blind or what >.< Look at the test posted by Raekpacman, that I must conclude that its a much much better, concrete test. Cecilia's test isn't sufficient if you "know" mathematics, the size of a sample which should be used for calculation isn't enough[though I do certainly doubt u do =)].

Oo btw, you CLAIMED that Middle Class weapon fail more than High Class weapon. Ermm.. where in the hell did you get this information? By Gm or K2 or the game producer or any website?

Do you think the Database has 1 value for Current Item Grade and another one for Past Item Grade?

@ hello, obviously you don't get it. Raek tested it on Golems. Cecilia and I have tested it in PVP

however, we still gotta test it on: priest, mages and other rogues. We only did it vs a warrior as you can see in his post.

everyone knows that middle class weapon 'suck' compared to high class

I,e: wood staff +9 vs Lycaon staff (yes its an unique, but this is just an example) Lycaon staff+0 does more dmg vs MOBS and PVP then wood +9.

A. 75 is a plenty large enough sample size. Apparently you're the one who doesn't know statistics very well most STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT samples used in real life situations are less than 1% of the size of a total population being sampled.

B. Apparently I'm going to need to do the test over and provide you with the entire data set (yes I didn't save the data sets from this last test cause I didn't think people would be so dense) and conduct more than just the expected values. I'll have to run the variance & standard devation then run a confidence interval on the sample and i'm sure that won't be enough for you so I'll probably have to run a hypothesis test after as well. Then when the end results turn up just how it has every time we've done this then maybe, just maybe you'll just be able to wrap your head around it enough to understand that its not a myth.
