DCZ sin vs archer/lightning mage

I can do 1v1(no dd ofc), 2v1, 3v1 (w/ dd helm (its hard) against sins in ardream pretty well right now (against sins w/ similar gear then me, around prob 1.1k ap), but i have trouble against 2 things

1. archers: s combo doesnt really work if they can combo (any non comboing nub i can tank the hell out of, no prob)
2. fairly geared lightning mages (dual rols, chaotic staff +7, etc)



any tips on how to face these classes?

archers especially. cuz other then sliding, nothing works!


o, my char is lvl 59
full chitin 7/12 dex (and a DD +7 helmet)
dual cleaver 8s
Warrior pendant+0
dex+9 earings
Health+10 belt
quest rings
AC Valk
Rogue attack Pathos



My ap is 1028 wolfed, and my ac is 542 ishk.

s combo does work. Just make sure they only hit 3-4 arrows from arrow shower than you should b able to beat them easily.

When you s combo an archer, try to hold s for a bit longer to get some distance. Works for me. You might need some practice with this combo.

i vs'd J from ko4life on his mage, makeitrain

he dominated me. almost full hp. i know he's got l33t gearz lol. but tahts what i need help with. i got stunned a hella lot

If you get stunned with a lightning mage, either:

A. You will never be able to kill him because he pots you off while you're stunned.

B. He will never be able to kill you because he doesn't do enough damage.

C. Both

Most likely, option C will occur unless he has a nice staff and imirs. If he stuns you too much and does too much damage, only way to beat him is to increase your lr so you get stunned less, or just hit like a truck.

Would love to try this new archer combo thing. It might made archer vs class.

However, against archer, with your gear I would also recommended to use SR combo.

Against LR mage... Do you use HP pots?
I don't think a dlw mage withou imir rings +3 would do enough dmg to kill you actually Oo. With their 200 dmg?

Just use mh/hp pot combo and if you get stunned spam hp pots.

Work on your gear as well.

i got a good hp pot minor, but i cant utilize it if im stunned almost every 3 attacks lol

Then you're obviously getting stunned too much. Stunned too much to the point that you can't drop his hp, or he kills you. Only option is to get more lightning resists, or bring some lightning talia?

With your current build you basically have almost no resist. I forget what the quest rings have for LR (I think its around 5 each?), but at best you've got only around 20 LR which is why your getting stunned so easily. I'm guessing from your items you probably dont have a lot of coin, so if your happy with your current build and only want to have the occasional resist boost to deal with a pesky mage, just do what Blast suggested and go make some light and fire resist talia.

i think this build will gime a bit more resistances overall and some ap (but its not gonna happen for a while )

I like the idea with LR talia, get them even if you get those items you listed. I think it would be worth it.
