Obviously you can equip both on both hands, but I do know that the CHD is more of a offhand weapon than main hand.. But the sherion I don't really know, I belive it can be used as either one really.
i have a sherion on right and chd on left. i was just wondering if there was a problem that i needed to change my right hand to a shard
well sherion +8 got same ap as shard +8 so dunno why it should be just off hand dagger.
Your current setup is fine, you don't really need to change to a shard +8.

Daggers with dex bonus are the best off hand daggers, like dark vane and CHD.
Because you get an AP penalty on your dagger in your offhand. So you won't get the full ap from CHD or DV, but your dex bonus will count for AP like normal.
That's why daggers with dex bonus are used as offhand daggers. In your main hand it doesn't matter, everything counts 100%. So your sherion raw 101 ap still counts in your mainhand
