the bifrost rings (imir, flame and shio) only affect mage damage.
same goes for ring of felankors

    This is incorrect.

Mages would otherwise have a much higher "R" damage.
Further, more experienced players would realize this, and use dual FR+3 with Baal/Wiri or HB to get maximum flame damage.

    Its a nice thought though!

Like all weapons, Lugias and Hellbreaker will give you a higher "R" damage because of the higher Flame Damage.
Accessories ONLY contribute if they are rings, AND to mages. (Has to be lightning, glacier or fire.)

Why would a warrior want one of those +3 rings, they would never use a flame ring+3, more experienced warriors know this would be counterproductive since these rings have 0 str on them, so trading str for elemental would be mute. The only ring warriors use to test this is ROF+0/1/2/3 and I am not talking about Foverins, they test using Ring of the Felankor. While the Ring of Felankor does not have nearly as much flame damage bonus, it does not suffer from having low str or hp, and has more def than rocs/foverins. Anyone warrior who believes it offers more damage when combined with a flame weapon uses these.

Understood about 10% of the above posts.

All Elemental Rings effect MAGES only. There are no living theories or hopes otherwise.

Flame Damage from a WEAPON does seem to increase the "R" attack on a Warrior/BP, however using a FR has no positive effect.

Obviously a RoF+3 would have a positive effect because of the STR, not because of the element.

Fail to those who believe otherwise.
