elemental staff +9 woe +7 Scorching Staff +7

i'm pretty sure scorching staff is the best choice
for mage 124int +8 3rd tier armor

what staff would be better and why

Elemental staff +9 109AP 72 Flame damage
Wreath of Erenion +7 91AP 78 Flame damage
Scorching staff +7 113AP 53 Flame damage[/s]


I decided scorching is better and i'm sure i can afford +8
so elemental is out of the picture

woe is crap, idk about ele staff

you should go scorching since you say low budget meaning soso items

scorching give nice damage, some DD and some hp,

i think overall you will enjoy it

well, i really like Wreath of Erenion Damage =)
but you need good uniques 2

scorching +7 > woe +8 so dont event bring up woe +7 lol. The only reason i would prefer woe is for LR on it, other than that....nothin else. elemental is nice if ur gona be novaing. ur novas will hit harder with elemental staff but if ur plannin on goin 72 staff attacks or blade attacks, scorching is the way to go. 5 dd is better than none and also health bonus is kinda nice. My suggestion = go scorching +7

and...for a better armor build with ur stats, i recommend u go with pauldron +8 pads +8 and helmet +8 of tier 2 and gloves +8 and boots +8 of tier 3. U save more stat points by putting less in INT. Also get 116 int dd helm, goes extremely well with the build and pretty much the difference between life and death on my server =P

scorching staff all the way... nice dd/hp/ap/fire its depend on how u play mage bcz if u are well geared i would tell u to go with hell blood for use fire staff but its personnal choice ^^

Woe suxx since elemental damage don't work at all, I preffer Scorching due to sin's favorite target are mages

Scorching is really good, the DD will really help and you won't notice a lot from the elemental difference
